LMT Weekend Edition, Vol. II

Red Mass Group's Mike Rossettie reports that Mitt Romney leads the latest Public Policy Poll for 2012's Republican nominee to challenge President Obama.

WCVB reports that Representatives Capuano (MA 8) and Tierney (MA 7) are on board with healthcare reform.  Lynch (MA 9) is the only holdout in the Massachusetts delegation in the House.  Capuano explains his decision on Blue Mass Group.  WBUR's Bob Oakes and Benjamin Swasey report on Lynch's defense.

MassBeacon's Conor Yunits reports that candidate for Governor Tim Cahill has sent out a petition to each member of our Congressional delegation urging them to vote against healthcare reform.  You know.  After the entire delegation had made up their minds.

Our delegation is also asking President Obama for disaster relief funds in the wake of last week's nor'easter, reports the Associated Press.

Tim Cahill's visibility is high this weekend, but maybe not for the best reasons.

Governor Patrick's Chief of Staff Doug Rubin says that Baker and Cahill are threatening the health insurance of Massachusetts citizens.  Yunits reports.

The Outraged Liberal has two articles about Cahill's shifting positions.  The article cited in the former is from the Globe's Aaron Lester, Michele Richinick, and Walter Robinson.  There's also another Globe article comparing Cahill soundbites.

Conor Yunits reports that Steve Grossman, candidate for Treasurer, will push for more openness.

The Globe reports on Cahill's other shifting views, as well.

The Herald's Richard Weir reports on Cahill's stance against healthcare reform.

Red Mass Group's South Shore Republican reports on Cahill's censure by non-elected officials on the Massachusetts Health Connector Board.

The AP reports on the other side of the Mass healthcare situation: over 1000 companies have been fined for a total of $18M for not providing adequate healthcare to employees.

Meanwhile, the AP reports that Cahill's opponent Governor Patrick is making a swing by the West Coast for fundraising.  Wait, MA doesn't have a west coast-- oh.

The AP also reports that Governor Patrick is working on renewable energy resources.

The Patriot Ledger's Nancy Reardon reports that the state is working on putting its budget online.

Massachusetts Elections 2010 reports that there will be a debate in the race for the Galluccio seat on March 25.

The Associated Press reports that education advocates are asking the Legislature to not cut local aid.  Conor Yunits reports that a Republican push for a mandatory minimum level of local aid has failed.

The Globe's Kevin Cullen reports that on the bully bill.  Conor Yunits notes that Representative Matt Patrick has added a "No Name Calling Day" to the bill.

The Jamaica Plain Gazette reports on innovations to public housing law to be found in a new bill filed in the Legislature.

Mayor Menino is pushing for more funding for bus yards, reports the Jamaica Plain Gazette's John Ruch.

Ruch also reports on the opposition to library closings in the city of Boston.  Ruch reports on a BPL trustees meeting on March 24.
