'Round the Bubblah 03-15-2010

I got your jokes covered from yesterday's annual breakfast.  The Herald's Jessica van Slack and the Globe's Kathy McCabe list some of their favorites.  WCVB has a fuller recap of the event.

Van Slack also writes of Martha Coakley's new attitude.  The Attorney General has learned from her Senate loss.

WBUR's Dave Shaw and Kevin McNicholas point out that Governor Leverett Saltonstall signed Evacuation Day into law using green ink.  And that the bill didn't mention Evacuation Day by name, only saying that March 17th will be a legal holiday.

Lisa Kocian reports in the Globe that the special election to fill Brown's state senate seat will be a bellwether for November.  WBUR also covers the expected Republican surge.  Fred Thys reports that the state GOP hopes to double its presence on the Hill.  Bob Oakes sits down with Conor Yunits to discuss the legislative races.  John Monahan, though, in the Worcester Telegram doesn't see the challenges appearing.

I missed alot not doing a weekend edition this week, and I'm sorry.  Will do better this week.
