Fighting for the Corner Office

Rob Eno reports that Charlie Baker has launched another tour, this one with the slogan "Massachusetts has had enough."

Meanwhile, Tim Cahill's campaign is feeling the hurt from the Republican negative ads. Jay Fitzgerald analyzes why Patrick, and not Baker, benefits.
Still, Cahill's demise was supposed to mainly benefit Charlie Baker. It hasn't. The numbers don't add up. Part of the reason is due to Charlie's truly awful campaign. Part is due to Deval running a solid campaign. Some of it can also be attributed to a possible breaking of the anti-incumbent fever here.
